Types of Copper
New Copper Pipes
New copper pipes, such as air conditioning pipes, are in their original condition without being burned or blackened. They have not been stored for long periods or exposed to moisture, which could cause oxidation and color change, and contain no impurities.
- Type K Copper Pipes: Previously used in high-pressure cooling systems, such as large air conditioning systems and industrial cooling systems.
- Type L Copper Pipes: Previously used in general cooling systems, such as residential, commercial, and shop air conditioning systems.
- Type M Copper Pipes: Previously used for outdoor piping, hot water systems, and applications that do not require high pressure.
Old Copper Pipes
Copper that has been used may have dents, cracks, or scratches and cannot be used in its original condition. However, it can be recycled. Old copper pipes come in various types, depending on their previous use.
- Type K Old Copper Pipe: Previously used in high-pressure cooling systems, such as large air conditioning systems and industrial cooling systems.
- Type L Old Copper Pipe: Previously used in general cooling systems, such as residential, commercial, and shop air conditioning systems.
- Type M Old Copper Pipe: Previously used for outdoor piping, hot water systems, and applications that do not require high pressure.
Copper Bus Bars
Used copper bus bars that are still in good condition, without cracks, burns, or other damage, can be recycled. Recycled copper bus bars come in various types, depending on size, number of terminals, and manufacturing materials.
- Single-Pole Copper Bus Bars: Used for controlling electricity in single circuits, such as lighting circuits or electrical outlets.
- Double-Pole Copper Bus Bars: Used for controlling electricity in dual circuits, such as lighting circuits, fans, or electrical outlets.
- Triple-Pole Copper Bus Bars: Used for controlling electricity in three-phase circuits, such as air conditioning systems, electric motors, or large machinery.
Colored Copper Bus Bars
Copper that has been coated or painted for use as bus bars in electrical systems. Recycled colored copper bus bars come in various types, depending on size, number of terminals, manufacturing materials, and color.
- Single-Pole Colored Copper Bus Bars: Used in lighting circuits or electrical outlets, available in different colors such as silver, white, and black.
- Double-Pole Colored Copper Bus Bars: Used in lighting circuits, fans, or electrical outlets, available in different colors such as silver, white, and black.
- Triple-Pole Colored Copper Bus Bars: Used in three-phase circuits for air conditioning systems, electric motors, or large machinery, available in different colors such as silver, white, and black.
White-Plated Copper
Copper that has undergone a chemical plating process to achieve a white surface. Typically, Type K or L copper pipes are used and chemically plated to enhance corrosion resistance, prevent blackening, and improve appearance.
- White-Plated Copper Pipes: Previously used in cooling systems, water supply systems, outdoor piping, etc.
- White-Plated Copper Sheets: Previously used in roofing, wall panels, ceilings, electrical appliances, etc.
- White-Plated Copper Wires: Previously used in winding coils, electrical wires, electronic devices, etc.
Coarse Copper Shreddings
Copper that has been processed into large pieces, typically with a diameter of about 5 millimeters or more. Coarse copper shreddings come from various types of copper scrap, such as old electrical wires, copper pipes, and copper sheets.
- Shredded Old Electrical Wires
- Shredded Copper Pipes
- Shredded Copper Sheets
- Shredded Copper from Old Electronic Devices
Copper with Insulation
Copper that has not yet been stripped of its insulation, typically found in the form of old electrical wires, copper pipes, damaged copper sheets, or other materials containing copper.
- Old Electrical Wires: All types of wires with copper inside, such as household wiring, electrical wires, cable wires, etc.
- Copper Pipes: Used copper pipes, whether for plumbing, air conditioning, etc.
- Copper Sheets: Damaged or unused copper sheets.
- Other Materials: Various materials containing copper, such as old electrical appliances, old electronic devices, etc.
